The State of Arizona recently awarded nine ALTCS contracts to three health plans. The chosen health plans will service members in the Arizona Long Term Care Services (ALTCS) program. Bridgeway was one of the health plans awarded a contract.
Beginning October 1, 2011, Bridgeway will serve ALTCS members in the following counties:
Bridgeway will NO LONGER be serving ALTCS members in Yuma and LaPaz counties.

On April 6, 2011 Governor Brewer signed Senate Bill 1619 which restores AHCCCS coverage of transplants that were removed for adults on October 1, 2010.
Beginning April 1, 2011, AHCCCS will cover and pay for the restored transplants for members age 21 years and older. This means that AHCCCS and its health plans will cover the following transplants on and after April 1, 2011:
• Pancreas Transplants after a Kidney Transplant.
• Liver Transplants for Members with Hepatitis C.
• Allogeneic Unrelated Hematopoietic Cell Transplants.
• Heart Transplants for Non-ischemic Cardiomyopathies.
• Lung Transplants.
• Heart Lung Transplants.
